Safety Warnings on All Digital Devices

When you purchase a toy, alcohol, tobacco products, or even an item shipped in a plastic bag, it is likely one of the first things you will observe on each of these items is some type of warning or information about safe use and disposal.

These warnings and informative statements are placed on these products to concurrently; (i) mitigate the manufacturer's liability, (ii) inform you and your loved ones about the risks associated with the (irresponsible) utilization of the item(s), and (iii) to communicate safe use and disposal of the product purchased.

So here is our question...

Since digital technologies and the negative trends associated with their use:

1)  Can alter your entire life in 1 second

2)  Are rapidly evolving beyond the scope & resources available to protect every user

***Why don't all digital tools and technologies have the following warning printed on their packaging as a reminder of safe use?

If you want to see manufacturers of digital tools and technologies (e.g. cell phones, digital cameras, computers, webcams, etc) required to provide this type of warning on their product packaging to assist in the proactive reduction of digital issues and mistakes, please sign this petition and with your assistance, we will make it happen!
